History

Neroli essence is an essential oil produced from the flower of the bitter orange tree, a lovely little white flower. The origin of the name lies with Anne-Marie Orsini, princess of Nerola (Italy). She adored these white flowers and placed them everywhere, in her bath, her clothes, her palace... So naturally, her name was given to this essence. Its liquid resembles yellow gold.

Botanicals

Neroli is the fruit of the bitter orange tree, a shrub native to China and the Middle East, which can grow up to 7 meters high.

Geography

Neroli is harvested in regions where the bitter orange tree thrives, such as France, Italy, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, and Paraguay. The flowers are typically hand-picked from late April to early May.
