Géography

It is the fruit of the Bergamot tree, a small delicate shrub, which grows mainly in southern Italy. The small, deliciously scented star-shaped white flowers will produce pear-shaped fruits, first green and then yellow with a thick rind that encloses a sour and bitter pulp.

History

She is a symbol of wealth, a few sheets in her pocket would prevent the shortage of money. In Sicily, a large number of traders still leave a bergamot to dry in their cash drawer today, to thrive in a successful year.

VIRTUEIts oil is used in several fields such as cosmetics, tea, confectionery ... Its essence treats small wounds thanks to its antiseptic power while the essential oil is used to evacuate stress and fight against insomnia.
